| Abstract: | The chalk grasslands of the Halberg, a lime-stone hillside in the Fulda valley near Neumorschen (North-Hesse, Germany), were examined by the NABU-association of the county Schwalm-Eder (Hesse, Germany). 267 Diptera species from 51 families were found, using sweep net and pitfall traps. 191 species of Diptera from 41 families excluding Syrphidae and Conopidae will be listed in this paper. Species of eight dipteran families could not be further determined. |
