Milichiella sp. K
Differs from congeners in the combination of anteromedially yellowish grey and posteriorly more coppery brown microtomentose mesonotum with darker brown spots at bases of setae.
Male coloration and vestiture: frons yellowish grey or depending on light source green or blue, but more brownish posteriorly, ocellar triangle and orbital plates yellowish grey microtomentose, frontal plates greyish microtomentose, black dots at bases of interfrontal setulae and frontal setae, lunule yellow, basoflagellomere ventral third medially yellow, face greyish microtomentose, palpus black; thorax with mesonotum anteromedially yellowish grey microtomentose, laterally and posteriorly more coppery brown microtomentose, darker brown spots at bases of setae, scutellum and katepisternum same colour as brown spots, anepisternum anteriorly greyish microtomentose, posteriorly coppery brown, wing hyaline, veins brown, brown spot at tip of vein R1 weak, calypter brown, halter black, legs black except for yellow joint between tibiae and tarsi; abdomen with ?.
Morphology. Head: frons with 2+0.7 orbital and 2 frontal setae, anterior frontal seta medioclinate. In males frons 2.2x as wide at posterior margin than at base of antenna, arista about 5.7x as long as basoflagellomere wide, pubescence on arista short, but not as long as base of arista wide, posterior eye margin with notch (4-5oc) and slight emargination (1oc).
Thorax: 3+1 dc, 3 prsc, 1 pprn, 1+0.6+0.6 prs, 2 keps setae, posterior prsc about as long as posterior dc, seta between posterior prsc and posterior dc absent. Wing with vein R4+5 and M1 weakly converging (1.6), and ultimate section of vein M1 2.6x as long as penultimate section. Fore femur slightly stronger setulose, tibial organ ?.
