Milichia speciosa
Biology:
Specimens have been collected on Artemisia campestris (Strobl 1893) and Apiaceae (Carles-Tolrá 2004) and females were observed running on a branch of Acer campestre, which was beset with aphids (Mik 1864). The males form swarms (Rohácek 1985).
Diagnostic description:
3 orbital and 3 frontal setae; all head and thorax setulae long; thorax grey microtomentose; anterior margin of wing partly brown, distal brown spots starts at height of middle between crossveins; male tergites 2-5 silvery microtomentose; female tergites 2-5 brown microtomentose except for posterolateral silvery spot on tergite 2.
